Zhu - a name that requires little to no introduction at all. A figure in the electronic music world that rose to dominance by keeping all the attention directed to his releases than rather building an image of himself. Starting to release his music anonymously Zhu created a genuine interest in his projects. The origin of his approach is similar to those of the modern time greats such as Daft Punk and Gorillaz.

Releasing his first ep “The Nightday” in 2014 with the hit single “Faded” Zhu gained rapid fame and quickly climbed top dance floor charts all around the World including Australia, UK and United States, most importantly the song received a Grammy nomination. A year later Zhu released another top notch ep titled “Genesis Series” this unique project featured some of the most diverse talents including Skrillex, Bone Thugs n Harmony and Aluna George among others. After appearing in Coachella music and arts festival in 2016 Zhu premiered tracks from his upcoming debut album which was released later that summer titled “Generationwhy”. Praise for Zhu came from various critics and writers.

While premiering “Working For It” the creative director of Apple Music's Beats 1 worldwide radio service Zane Lowe described Zhu as uniquely creative artist who uses innovative and nothing close to  traditional ways for putting out records. Carrying the momentum over to 2017 Zhu dropped his third ep “Stardustexhalemarrakechdreams” while performing in various festivals worldwide. The same year the artist also released a series of more memorable remixes including “Bad and Boujee” by Migos and “Andromeda” by Gorillaz.

Zhu与DaftPunk、Gorillaz这样的传奇有着相似的生涯起步。2014年发行的Ep“The Nightday”以及其中的热门单曲“Faded”帮助Zhu迅速建立了声誉，并在澳大利亚、英国、美国等多国舞曲榜单上持续快速攀升。更令人惊叹的是，”Faded”也获得了评论界的认可，收获了一个格莱美提名。转年Zhu继续开足马力，与Skrillex、Bone Thugs n Harmony以及Aluna George等人合作，发行了另一张口碑之作，EP“Genesis Series”。

2016年，Zhu登上了Coachella音乐节的舞台，并在那年夏天发行了个人第一张专辑”Generationwhy“，得到了乐评圈的一致称赞。Apple Music Beats1 Radio创意总监Zane Lowe高度评价Zhu，认为他以前所未有的划时代方式制造了这张专辑。

携卷这张专辑的惊人之势，2017年，Zhu一边继续在世界各地的知名舞台献上表演，一边发行了个人第三张EP ”Stardustexhalemarrakechdreams”。同时，Zhu还制作了一系列人气Remix，包括Migos的大热单曲“Bad and Boujee”以及Gorillaz的“Andromeda”等。
