用今天的视角来看，hip hop和电子的结合真是再正常不过的事情了。但是在2000年以前，这可是大家连想都不敢想的大胆想法。直到以Flying Lotus为代表的L.A.音乐人打破传统，革命性地将左翼电子乐与地下说唱结合在一起，创造了将影响今后整个音乐圈走向的“Beat Scene”。
Glen Boothe，或者你可能更熟悉他的另一个名字 Knxwledge 便是从这大名鼎鼎的Beat Scene升起的一股重要力量。 Soul、Jazz，Knxwledge将hip hop的无限可能性玩到极致，除了与格莱美“最佳城市音乐奖”提名的Anderson .Paak组成灵魂hip hop二人组NxWorries，他还制作了Kendrick Lamar拿奖到手软的那张专辑<To Pimp a Butterfly>中的单曲Momma。
Knxwledge - Flyinglizrds
用高产完全无法形容Knxwledge出产单曲的疯狂速度。他制作了包括Joey Bada$$/Earl Sweatshirt/Action Bronson/ Omarion/ Ghostface Killah等实力不凡的艺人的多首歌曲，并且在音乐网站Bandcamp上发行了超过八十首remix和beat样带。Flying Lotus在参加BBC Radio 1一档节目时惊叹道“Knxwledge一天要做1百万首歌，他简直可以用疯狂来形容！你要想尝试听完他的歌，祝你好运！”
2015年，以高品味闻名的独立厂牌Stones Throw向Knxwledge伸出橄榄枝。Mndsgn，Tuxedo以及Snoop Dogg与Dâm-Funk组成的7 Days of Funk等都属于这个厂牌之下。在入赘Stones Throw以后，Knxwledge发布了自己的个人专辑<Hud Dreems>。同年，Knxwledge与Anderson .Paak.成立了二人组合NxWorries。他们的首支单曲<Suede>获得极高好评，更为他们引来2Pac, The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar等重量级音乐人背后的金牌制作人Dr.Dre的目光。
NxWorries (Anderson.Paak & Knxwledge) - Suede
2016年，NxWorries发行了完整版专辑<Yes Lawd>，Knxwledge是这张专辑的制作人。音乐杂志《Pitchfork》将这张专辑评选为当月“最佳新专辑”，《Vibe》评价“这是千禧年和R&B爱好者的必备专辑”；《Vice》知名乐评人Robert Christgau形容“对有音乐美感追求的听众来说，这张专辑可以为你呈现最极致的听觉美感”……

Knxwledge
Knxwledge(pronounced “knowledge”) is a Hip-hop beat maker / producer raised in centralNew Jersey and Philadelphia, now relocated in Los Angeles. Standing out in asea of producers rising from the L.A. beat scene, the prolific artist andrecord collector produces his sound by creating a pastiche of soul, jazz andhip-hop that melts together in a style uniquely his own. He has produced forhip-hop powerhouse Kendrick Lamar on “To Pimp a Butterfly” (produced ‘Momma’), which went platinum and was awarded for US Grammy“Best of Rap Album” in 2015. He’s also produced for other MCs/Singers such asJoey Bada$$, Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson, Omarion and Ghostface Killah, andhas over 80 releases of remix and beat tape collections on his Bandcamp.
His officialdebut album “HudDreems” was released from Stones Throw in 2015. Soon after, he formed theduo NxWorries, with Anderson .Paak. The first single ‘Suede’ gained much attention, of whichpiqued the interest of Dr. Dre. In 2016, NxWorries released their full-length album “Yes Lawd!”,which received criticalacclaim. Currently, Knxwledge is working on a self-remix album of NxWorries anda new solo album.
