After the success of our party with The Do Over, we have decided to throw another rooftop party, in conjunction with our Night Slugs showcases. Welcome to Day Slugs.

Night Slugs are one of the most enigmatic and versatile labels of the past decade. Their U.S sister label, headed up by Kingdom, Fade To Mind has been making waves on both sides of the Atlantic with releases from MikeQ, Kelela & Nguzunguzu.

L.A based Kingdom first drew attention with a series of mixtapes which blended sounds from grime, house and club trax twisted with hip hop. He has since developed a hybridised, cutting-edge potent strain of dance music. He was first signed to Night Slugs in 2009 and his That Mystic and Dreama EP proved he meant business.

Our last day party with The Do Over

Lining up alongside Kingdom is some of Shanghai’s finest selectors. Push & Pull’s Naaah will be playing some UK sounds, from funky to grime. Up and coming crew Genome 6.66 Mbp will be represented by Tess. House & Bass specialist Donn will be joining the fray and LoFai’s ADO8 will be providing a heavy dose of hip hop.

After we wind things down at 10pm the party will continue at Arkham, where we have a huge triple headliner show planned with Bok Bok & L-Vis 1990 joining Kingdom behind the decks.
