On June 27th S.T.D. will surrender Arkham's stage to London-based electronic artist, Blende for a few hours of house-disco/electro-rock mayhem. Blende’s sound is a lovely confluence of Daft Punk, Justice, and MSTRKRFT, weaving house rhythms, soulful refrains, disco rock, and jumpy bass lines into an infectious robot-funk that feels both retro and futuristic. It’s 1980, 2080 and a little in between.

In terms of credibility, he’s got plenty of that, with associated acts including Felix da Housecat, Mr. Oizo, Wofgang Gartner, Skrillex, Dada Life, and many more. Blende most recently put out his killer Paramount EP, and is even more well known for some serious jams like “Fake Love” and “Rikki,” just dripping with neon groove.

It’s near impossible to hear Blende and not move. Arkham’s halls will be filled with more dance than even we’re used to.

化身Blende的Johan Klereby来自伦敦，在这座音乐城纷繁无比的电子音乐场景里，Blende永远是一个振奋人心的名字，躲藏在这个名字后的是这位音乐人向来不改得本真风格，无缝连接强劲electro和机械感合成器，加入十分funk的disco声轨，包裹上摇滚乐外壳，一切对Blende来说都是轻而易举。 

自2006年出道时，勤勤恳恳的Blende创作了大量曲目以吸引大厂牌注意，结果为他引来了一群忠实歌迷，早年为Klaxons和MSTRKRFT做的remix传播得也足够广泛，一头扎进独立摇滚世界，依然不变Blende独有风格。之后Blende还与Tiesto、Yuksek、Steve Aoki等大牌合作，获得强有力支持。 

2012年是Blende职业生涯的大年，转投Eskimo Recordings后发行了大热单曲“Fake Love”，同时亦和众多同辈好友携手合作，其中和瑞典制作人Adrian Lux的互动最为频繁，Blende还获邀为PNAU、Korn、Roger Sanchez、Skrillex等制作remix，风格跨度之大可见Blende能够独力执掌不同领域，彻底打破它们之间的边界。

今年4月暂居中国的Blende发行最新单曲“Paramount”，再用合成器回到2000年代的纽约城，非常幸运的我们将要马上在家门口听到这些激动人心的声音和Blende精心重铸的新disco世代。
